Tamsin was a Principal Consultant with Oxford HR from 2011-2014 and re-joined in 2022 after leadership roles in the UK charity sector. Social Work trained, her career spans social and development work in the UK and in Asia, with a focus on health – both mental and physical, forced migration and human rights.
Tamsin has worked with and for a very wide range of organisations in the UK and in Asia, from some of the smallest local charities to the largest international bodies, including UNAIDS and APEC. She has also worked on two continents for national and local governments, universities and foundations. She especially enjoyed her role as the Community Coordinator of the 2004 International AIDS Conference in Bangkok, which brought people living with HIV and the communities most affected by it into the heart of the world’s largest global health conference. Building on her multi-disciplinary degree in Human Sciences from the University of Oxford, this breadth of experience enables her to rapidly understand the leadership needs of different types of organisation across many different sectors.
Tamsin has served on the Oxfordshire Safeguarding Adults Board since 2017 and continues to undertake systemic safeguarding review work alongside her searches for Oxford HR.
