Meera joined Oxford HR in 2023. Meera graduated from City, University of London with an MA in Diplomacy and Foreign Policy which exposed her to a breadth of global security and sustainable development issues. Meera is particularly interested in intersectional environmentalism and centred her master’s thesis on the gender-economy-climate connection, advocating for climate adaptability for marginalised women in Africa.
Meera’s diverse experience in the for-purpose sector has equipped her with a strong understanding of social impact initiatives. She believes that every intention to change for the benefit of yourself, the animals and the planet is impactful. Working at Oxford HR aligns with this value and allows her to contribute to serving the of needs organisations that put purpose-led initiatives, conservation, and the environment at the heart of their work.
