Karen Twining

After 16 incredible years, we said a heartfelt farewell to Karen Twining (Associate Director) — a colleague, mentor, and friend whose impact on Oxford HR has been truly profound.

Karen has been with us since the early days in 2008, shaping systems, leading over 115 searches, and helping us grow into the organisation we are today. Her wisdom, optimism, humour, and deep sector knowledge have left an enduring mark — as has her unmatched ability to build trusted, lasting relationships with her clients like Gatsby Africa and countless candidates around the world. She was also instrumental and pivotal with setting up the Nairobi as she conducted the initial feasibility study in 2017.

Karen, we wish you all the best as you rewire — not retire — and hope the next chapter brings you as much inspiration and impact as you’ve brought to us.

Philip Wasonga

Last quarter, we also bid a fond farewell to Philip Wasonga (Consultant) based in our Nairobi office, whose positive energy, dedication, and passion greatly contributed to our organization. Philip’s astute stakeholder management, business development skills, and collaborative spirit have left a lasting impact on the team.

Throughout his tenure with us, Philip consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to learning, innovation, and growth, setting a positive example for his colleagues. His thoughtful approach and strategic insights have been invaluable, and he will be greatly missed by the team.

Philip, thank you for your hard work and contribution – we wish you all the best and are excited about the opportunities to come for you.
