In the last quarter, the Nairobi office has grown in leaps and bounds. In the last few months, we have had Nafeesa Usman and Maria Barco from the Europe team working from Nairobi, where they have been training the new researchers and project coordinators. We have also had some new Associate Consultants join us.

Angeline Siparo
Associate Consultant, Africa
Angeline is a development practitioner with 25 years of experience working for non-profits, international NGOs, U.N. agencies, and government institutions. She is driven by a passion for positive change in Africa (and the world) and committed to working with others with similar values and aspirations. She brings extensive experience in governance, advocacy and policy development and program design.
Peter Irungu
Associate Consultant, Africa
Peter is a consultant with over 20 years of experience in program and organizational management. He brings a combination of organization and people management, grants management, organizational mentorship and coaching, leadership development skills and abilities. He is adept at identifying and promoting synergies across to tackle diverse, expanding, and increasingly complex challenges.
Jessica Gogo
Researcher, Africa
Professional, Jessica is an Engineer with an MBA (master’s in business administration) in Energy and Sustainable Development Management. Previously, she was working on a project entailing the largest wind farm in Sub-Saharan Africa, conducting research and publishing articles on the productive use of solar energy appliances in Kenya. Furthermore, she has consulted on carbon emission projects in the solar energy and waste management sectors.

Blaise Abong’o
Project Coordinator, Africa
Blaise holds a BEng in Civil and Structural Engineering. He has worked in various leadership positions, managing teams in construction projects focused on being ecofriendly and resource efficient buildings. He brings experience in the areas of project management, research, data collection and team building.
Sarah Odhiambo
Project Coordinator, Africa
Sarah is an organizational development and human resource practitioner with over 7 years’ experience in donor projects within the health and blue economy sectors. She has built the capacity of line managers on resilient and transformational management practices; and provided input into policy decisions at the national and county level in Kenya.
