Oxford HR partners with the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI)
Oxford HR is proud to be partnering with the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI), a global initiative working to strengthen infrastructure systems in the face of climate and disaster risks. This collaboration marks an important step forward in our mission to connect transformative leadership with urgent global challenges.
CDRI brings together national governments, UN agencies, development banks, the private sector and research institutions, working collectively to make infrastructure more resilient to the growing threats of climate change and disasters. Headquartered in New Delhi and launched by the Government of India, CDRI is shaping the global agenda through policy, innovation, and capacity building.
As part of this partnership, Oxford HR will support CDRI in recruiting a new generation of international experts across critical sectors—from energy and water, to transport, telecoms, data, fund management, and urban resilience. These key roles will drive forward CDRI’s Strategic Work Plan (2023–2026), aligning with global frameworks such as the Sendai Framework, the SDGs and the Paris Agreement.
The need for resilient infrastructure is only growing. By 2050, over $10 trillion will be invested in infrastructure that must stand up to the pressures of climate change and natural hazards. Oxford HR’s work with CDRI is not only about recruitment—it’s about identifying the leaders who will shape how systems adapt and respond for decades to come.
We’ll be supporting the recruitment of senior advisors and technical experts, with a particular focus on international engagement and sector-specific leadership in resilient infrastructure. These are people who will need vision, expertise, and the ability to work across cultures and borders.
This partnership builds on Oxford HR’s experience supporting climate-focused institutions and intergovernmental organisations, including the Green Climate Fund, the Global Centre on Adaptation and IRENA. We’re proud to be supporting CDRI’s goal of building a diverse, international team committed to long-term, systems-level change.
Many of the roles are open to candidates around the world, and we’re especially keen to connect with professionals who bring experience across regions and geographies. CDRI is committed to inclusive, equitable hiring—values we champion in every search.
As we begin this critical recruitment phase, we see this partnership as a unique opportunity to help place disaster resilience at the centre of the global development agenda. Together, we’re looking for leaders who can help shape the infrastructure of tomorrow—and ensure it’s fit for the challenges of today.
