The Global Alliance (GA) is made up of 29 philanthropic member foundations committed to food systems transformation. They all have different goals and work together with the GA to realize common ambitions around Food Systems. The work of the alliance is focused on seven calls to action and is framed around seven shared values.
Key Objectives
In 2023 Oxford HR support GA to appoint a successor to its founding Executive Director. After an extensive search drawing together an extremely high calibre field of candidates, all recognized experts in the worlds of Food Systems Transformation and Philanthropy, we were delighted to confirm the appointment of Anna Lappe as Executive Director. Coming from a member foundation, Anna was well versed in the work of the GA and was able to demonstrate not only her strong thematic and philanthropy credentials, but also her high commitment to the GA’s vision and mission – a critical consideration in any Founder-Executive Director transition.
