Edwin has spent over 20 years working with both national and international NGOs: supporting causes such as health, science, animal welfare and the environment. His experience ranges from working with small teams of just a few people to large global organisations with hundreds of staff. He is a mission-driven leader who focuses on helping teams stay effective and healthy while navigating complex changes. Edwin strongly believes in a people-centred approach that values kindness, humility, and the power of listening.
His work includes guiding major organisational transformations by supporting leaders to redesign teams and improve collaboration across groups ranging from small units to departments of more than 100 staff. He has led large, complex projects involving multiple countries and diverse teams, and has strengthened People and Culture functions by overseeing strategic and operational HR work, enhancing employee experience, supporting global hiring and management, and ensuring organisations have the right HR policy frameworks in place.
Edwin also serves as a trusted thought partner to CEOs and Boards, helping them stay organised and make clear decisions within complicated international networks, often acting in a chief‑of‑staff capacity. He brings an independent and fair perspective to evaluations and investigations, reviewing sensitive issues or analysing why projects may not have gone as planned. In addition, he provides interim leadership and management support, stepping in to keep teams steady, focused, and well‑supported during periods of temporary leadership gaps.
